I was out for a walk on this beautiful, cold, sunny day in Colonial Williamsburg. When I came to the Governor’s Palace, I decided to take the small gravel path next to the palace and took a route back to my car, rather than walking through the rest of the Colonial area, as I normally do. As I got off the path and turned down the road, I noticed the heart hanging on a tree next to the sidewalk. I did a double-take and walked a few steps back to retrieve it . It was so lovely. I have really been working on making positive changes for 2024, so this felt like a sign of good things to come.
