I found this quilted heart in the summer on the Heather Road fishing pier. I thought it was a sign from my mom who passed away in 2020.
I spent my summer running up and down this boardwalk pier training for an Ironman 70.3. When I saw this quilted heart it was reminder to enjoy the journey. We often are trying to speed through life and get to the next thing. I loved this reminder that I need to take pause and enjoy every minute.
This heart has a permanent place on our year round Christmas tree.
