I found a quilted heart today!
It felt really special to me too. I was laid off 9 months ago and have been working super hard to start my own business. It’s been really tough emotionally as I handle set backs, squeezing in driving for Uber to make ends meet, going into a lot of debt, and still trying to be there for my son who I have half custody of. This week was really tough and I even smarted off to my friends in frustration of life. Of course I had to apologize and decided today to suck it up, try to be happy and take my son to get a Pizzookie (his favorite ice cream cookie dessert). As I left the restaurant we found the heart dangling from a bush on the sidewalk! When I read the note I immediately felt that it was a sign to cheer up, be positive, and stay the course – the universe does actually have gifts to share.
