On Easter Sunday I went into labour after a very long and difficult pregnancy with my third child. As we arrived to the hospital I was feeling very anxious as I’d been having some really awful nightmares surrounding birth and was scared they were going to be a sign of what was to come.
Heading from the car park to the main hospital we found a beautiful quilted heart in the elevator, and I knew that someone was watching over us.
My boy was born three hours later completely happy and healthy and none of those awful dreams came true at all. The heart was the sign I needed to get me through when my head was seeing only bad.
