My husband and I had just finished a 5 mile walk in the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge in Vernon, NJ. We sat on a bench near the pond for a rest before going home. When I got up to leave we were admiring the gorgeous bright red berries on a holly tree. That’s where I noticed the heart hanging from a branch. I unhooked it and knew that it had been left there for me to find. Thank you! I am going to turn it into a Christmas tree ornament for my tree next year!
