The birthday week of celebrations had begun, and I decided to take my husband to our local ice cream shop.  Being the kind gentleman that he is, he went in to purchase the treats, while I waited in our nice cool vehicle.  As I sat there watching all of the families laughing and truly enjoying life, something captured my attention.  Something that didn’t belong.  (Reminded me of those highlight magazines where you have to select what doesn’t belong in the photo.)

Anyway, curiosity got the better of me, so I slipped out of our vehicle and approached this beautiful little gem.  It was an adorable little heart with a tag on it that said, “I need a home.”  Well, how ’bout that!  We are out celebrating a birthday, and I find the most unique gift a person could ever hope to find:  our own little quilted heart.

As you can see from the photo, the heart has adorable little foxes, and a sweet heart shaped button.  It is truly a treasure.

Thank you kind heart maker for bringing a smile to my face.  This little treasure will live in our home reminding us that no act of kindness is ever wasted. We pray that the maker of this little heart will be showered with abundant blessings.
