While leaving the grocery store our 3 year old daughter noticed this heart hanging by the exit. “My heart! I need to hold it” she shouted. I thought she wanted to touch something on the wall. I sat her down from the cart as she tried to reach for something and said “I can’t get it!” Once I noticed the heart I handed it to her as she smiled and squeezed it tightly.
Once we got home and unloaded everything she kept mentioning “it’s in the truck!” Not knowing what she was talking about I went with her to look in the truck and couldn’t find anything. Once we got back inside she saw it on our table and said “my heart! You came back!” I looked down to take a closer look and noticed the tag. My eyes got a little teary once I realized what it was and how special it was. Thank you for putting a smile on our faces. We will keep this memory forever.
