My mom passed away from complications from the horrible disease of Alzheimer’s in February, 2023. I have missed her so much and she was a wonder quilter and special prayer warrior for our family. I live at the coast in Lincoln County Oregon now and each time I find a heart rock on the beach or while hiking trails I give my mom a Thank You, Mom! for such a sweet reminder of her love throughout my years.
Today, my husband and I took my 91 year old father with us on a short drive to Tillamook. We stopped at a grange for a rummage sale and then continued on to the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory. Upon coming out of the visitor’s center I found this sweet quilted heart clinging to the hedge next to the sidewalk. My heart swelled to think that someone is spreading love and kindness while making hearts for others to find! Thank you to the maker and giver of this sweet heart.
