After a busy and often stressful harvest season complicated by needing to deal with an elderly relative’s health issues, plus trying to settle my parents’ estate and sell their property, I snuck out to get away from it all and walk my dogs at F.W. Kent Park in Johnson County, Iowa. I noticed several objects hanging from trees along the trail. Since it was Nov. 1, I thought they might have been decorations from a Halloween event at the site the previous day. Then this one in particular caught my eye and I stopped to see what it actually was. I love the fabric colors and patterns and the variety of stitches used to create it. It now hangs in my home office and is a lovely memory of a desperately needed peaceful walk on a chilly autumn afternoon. Thank you!
