My husband and I were buzzing up to breakfast in our golf cart when I spied a little something hanging in a bush at the bottom of the Water Lily Bridge. It took me a little time to realize what it was, so we didn’t stop. While at breakfast, I put 2 + 2 together and realized it was part of the I Found A Quilted Heart project. We had plans after breakfast, so I hoped it would still be there when we came back. I was delighted to see it still hanging there! Must be fate! Husband – accustomed to my silliness – graciously stopped while I took a quick picture and claimed the little heart as my own. She now lives in my sewing room as an embellishment to a macrame piece that my daughter made for me. Thank you to the kind soul wo took the time to brighten my day! I am a garment sewist, not a quilter, and I respect the time and effort put into this little gift.
