Tallebudgerra Creek, QLD Australia

My 4 year old daughter and I were walking home from the Tallebudgerra Creek when she turned around to me and said “mum, there’s a heart in the tree”. Of course at first I was confused until I turned around to see what she was looking at. As we approached and I saw the message “I need a home” on the heart, I quickly told my daughter that she could keep this found treasure! She was beyond ecstatic- the look on her face was priceless and she couldn’t wait to get home to tell daddy. After I told her that I think someone left this for a stranger to find to cheer up a random persons day, she quickly shared with me that she’d like to make finger puppets and hang them from the trees too for people to find- bless!
Her reciting the story to daddy upon his arrival at home, was beyond beautiful. This was so so so special to find. I love this project so much. Thank you to the Angel who made this quilted heart 💜
