I’m 13 and my mum and I went on a trip to Sydney from Auckland, New Zealand.
Mum was born in Sydney and we needed a bit of a holiday because my brother has challenges and can be hard to live with. My Dad stayed in NZ with him.
We were walking through the cool little alleyways in The Rocks which is an area with a lot of history in Sydney. Then I saw something attached to the railing. It was a beautiful quilted heart! At first we didn’t realise we were allowed to take it. Then we saw that it said it needed a home! I felt really lucky to have found it and it really brightened our day!
