I was having a tough day as a SAHM with my toddler and bickering a lot with my spouse. We were in the parking lot about to leave the grocery store when my husband saw the heart hanging in the tree by our van and he handed it to me. I was still feeling particularly grumpy, but felt a little glimmer of happiness when he handed the heart to me. It grounded me in the moment to realize the bigger picture.
