I decided to go on a walk in the morning to clear my head as I have been going through some transitions in work and feeling uneasy about it. I entered a well known trail and walked for a half hour, turned back, and as I was exiting the trail the yellow of the quilted heart caught my eye. Hanging on a little branch was this quilted heart, which really stood out in the monochromatic landscape of late winter. I brought it home and as I continued walking it made me feel so happy to have happened upon a bit of kindness and art.
