I found a little heart sitting by the door as I was leaving my Saturday sewing class. It was such a delight to find a friendly little handmade treasure just waiting to be found. The heart makes me mindful of gratitude for the little things in life that really are the big things. The little pink buttons that connect the ribbon loop to the heart are the exact size of my thumb and index fingertips. It feels good to rest my fingertips in the button indentations. Like the comfort of a hand in a glove, the tactile sensation gives me a sense of comfort. Thank you to whomever made and placed this little heart.
