I have the privilege of working at the Missouri Botanical Garden, on the Therapeutic Horticulture team. As I walk to my car, it is a daily practice to pause, look around and appreciate the presence of nature. Hanging on the botanical sign on one of our immense trees in the parking lot was a plastic bag. Knowing this is not a normal thing to see on the sign, I took it down. What a delightful surprise to see this heart. Paying attention to my surroundings resulted in acquiring something special!
