I found a quilted heart on the ground outside the Union Bank, Portland St., St. Johnsbury VT. My first thought was someone lost an ornament. Then I picked it up and saw the little card attached.
Comments by the heart: I was laying on the ground all wet and soggy. The wind was blowing and I was very cold. This lady came along picked me up dusted the sand off me and put me on the defroster in her car. I am in her home now all dry and toasty. What are the odds I landed in the home of a quilter? This lady told me she knew a man that needed lots of support right now. She is taking me to meet him and see if he would like to keep me to cheer him up.
