My 5 yr old son found it while he was being carried by his 16 yr old cousin. What makes this story so important is that my mom, my son and I were visiting my sister, brother-in-law and nieces and in town for just a few days for a baby shower. We don’t often get to see my sister and her family so our time together is so special and we miss each other very much. This heart made each of smile as we were all feeling quite sad. You see we were leaving the park when my son spotted the heart. Leaving the park to go back to the airport and fly out. It was our last moments together not knowing when we would next get to be together again and this heart brought such joy to a sad moment. It was so unexpected – bringing joy when it absolutely needed. To whomever left this heart in Veteran’s Park in St Clair Shores Michigan – it has a home in Florida and filled my family’s hearts.
