I was on a blustery walk at Bug Light Park, feeling like I had made the wrong decision to walk (or at least, the incorrect fashion choices for such a cold day!). I was gazing across the water at Portland when all of a sudden, something orange hanging on a bush caught my eye. It was this quilted heart! At first, I thought it was something a child had lost, or that someone had decided to decorate for Halloween but had then given up due to the weather. But, upon reading the tag, I realized it could be mine! It felt like a perfect positive omen (I love cats) and it immediately brightened my day! I had a pep in my step the rest of my walk.
