I help run a local community compost. Participants bring their food scraps from home and we turn it into fresh compost to nourish the earth (gardens and house plants). Anyways I was heading to the compost site, walking along my city’s bike trail. I always look at my surroundings, admiring the trees, sky, and any wild life I see. As I was walking I saw this soft heart hanging from a branch. As always with a curious mind I went up to see what it was. My first thought was, “this is such a beautiful piece of art”. I read the tag and thought about it. In my mind I thought, “well maybe I should leave it so that it can make someone’s day better”. It had already brought a smile to my face to have found it. But I realize that I didn’t find this little heart, this little heart found me. And so I said thank you to the tree in which it was hanging from. But if you are reading this, the heart you made is so beautiful. I have given it a home with a loving heart. Thank you and blessings to you.
