My mom passed suddenly in April of this year. I’ve been learning how to navigate without her presence and sifting through my grief. Mostly, I have been asking for a sign to show me she is here with me in a different way now. My partner is a musician and I joined him for this 2 week tour of the Northeast. Last night as we hit the trailhead I found this amazing quilted heart. Birds and feathers are gifts from the otherworld, and here was a heart for me. Thank you for gifting me with this love, and thank you for bringing light into this sometimes dark world!!! Kim
