It is a beautiful unusually warm day here for January and I started walking my dog this morning. She wanted to go a different direction, so that led me to the outside of our city’s main park. I just got off the phone with my daughter when I spotted something pink hanging from a bush. It was a beautiful pink polka dotted heart with buttons. I read the tag, looked it up right away to make sure it wasn’t something weird, and then carried it with me as I resumed my walk. It made me smile! It was such a lovely surprise on a lovely morning and a reminder to not sweat the small stuff–just look around and live in the moment. 🙂
