I found a quilted heart today.🩵 Pretty exhausted on every level, I was on my evening walk with Jubilee. 🐾 As we neared our cabin I noticed that she was not slowing down a bit and still had plenty of energy in the tank. Far different than the way I felt. I decided to take her down a little road that we had not been down in sometime. I was in one of those moments that comes on you where you’re feeling drained. One of those moments when memories come up and wound you afresh with pain. I needed something. I just needed something. I found my quilted heart today hanging on a little limb next to the river. As I read the tag, “I NEED A HOME!” I stood there as tears ran down my face. This little heart found me. It needed a home and I needed it. And what a beautiful movement this project is. What a blessing.
