I was returning to work this morning after having surgery which diagnosed me with Testicular Cancer. I normally do not need to take the elevator in the parking garage but given my healing surgical incision, it was needed this morning. Upon entering the elevator I found this heart hanging in the handrail. Assuming it was dropped by someone I picked it up to take it to lost and found inside the hospital. As I read the tag and found this website on my slow walk into the hospital it most certainly brought a smile to my face realizing what I had found. Thank you to whoever left this heart for me to find, it has given me added encouragement to return to my work with the same enthusiasm and compassion I’ve always strived to have despite my own recent misfortune. I plan to pay this kindness forward as it has impacted me more than you know. Thank you again. 🙂
