My car had been stolen a week ago, today one thing after another kept happening to me. I felt defeated and alone. I debated on whether to stop at the “Sharestuff” thrift store here in Rockford Illinois, hoping it would lift my spirits just a little, or continue home and wallow in my sadness. I decided to turn into the the business.
I parked and when I opened my car door, there in front of my face was this beautiful heart hanging delicately on the bush next to me! I did a double take thinking why is this pretty heart here?
I removed it and read the tag that said “I need a home”. It is such a pretty heart! I cherish this act of kindness. That someone took the time to create this heart full of love and leave it just in the spot I was going to be, is such a blessing. You can never know just how happy I felt the rest of the day, knowing I am never alone.
