My husband found this quilted heart on the ground in the parking lot after playing pickleball. He knew exactly what it was because I also make these quilted hearts and leave them for people to find them. My husband brought it home and gave it to me today, May 9th, 2023. I had been feeling sadness about this being the first Mother’s Day without my mom. She passed away on July 21, 2022. This heart is a special gift to me today because it lifted my spirits about Mother’s Day. Thank you to the person who made this heart. It means a lot to me. I have it hanging in my sewing room to remind me of Mother’s Day 2023. Its important to post when you find a heart because it lets the one who made it know that they have made a difference in the life of the one who found it.
