What a wonderful surprise, & it’s such a coincidence that I found this heart. My 3 yr old son and I like to visit the Resaca Battlefield, but sometimes I like going more than he does (I think he knows I’m trying to run his energy out & has caught on to my tricks.) This day in particular, I was pretending that there would be a prize waiting at the second bridge.. (I bring a new toy matchbox car and hide it when he isn’t looking, just to keep him excited about the walk.) When I went to hide his car, I stumbled across this Quilted Heart in the tree. It was such a heartwarming surprise & I really appreciate whomever left it. This year has been particularly hard, and discovering this quilted heart project has been a highlight. Thank you, mine is hanging in my kitchen now.
