While out and about school shopping in Rapid City, SD, my youngest was struggling to find a backpack and it truly brought her down she couldn’t find the one. We decided to stop at our local dollar store for a snack and as we were leaving we saw this little red heart blowing around on a branch. She of course investigated and this was the first time we’d seen a quilted heart. She fell in love immediately. Our next stop she found THE backpack. She says the heart is her good luck charm and has fixed it to her new bag for the first day of school this coming week. Thank you to the quilter who left this for her to find and lifted her spirits!
