My husband and I were out walking our dog at the park near our residence. Our dog laid down by a light standard in the park, and that’s when I saw something on the base. Upon closer inspection, I saw that it was a small quilted heart with an attached tag.
Earlier today, I was the guest of honour at a special event. I had to make a speech and meant to dedicate it to my dearly departed Mom, but being under stress, I forgot. I know my Mom would have been so proud of me.
After the event, I was given a gift of a small butterfly on a lily pad that lights up and changes color. Butterflies signify that my Mom is near. Every time I see them, I think of my beautiful Mom and know she is sending me a signal that’s she’s close by.
When I saw the quilted heart and noticed it also had a butterfly on it, it was positive confirmation that I was not mistaken about my Mom.
I love my Mom dearly and miss her so much.
