Today, on Mother’s Day, our family drove to Olema/Point Reyes and one of our stops was the Earthquake Trail. When we got to the fence that separated, my seven year old granddaughter said, “Yaya, someone left a note!” It was this adorable heart. I explained to her why it was there and that it was hers to keep.
When I asked her what it means to her to have this heart she simply said one word, “Love”. I think she has summed up your organization quite well, and what you want it to embody. She hasn’t let this heart out of her grasp since she found it.
Thank you for starting this “treasure hunt”. My granddaughter now says she wants to sew hearts so she can leave them places.
