This bright red heart was hanging from a tree in a parking lot, right next to where I had parked. It was on my right and I only noticed it as I began to back out of my spot to leave. I’d never seen one before so I pulled back into my spot to take a closer look and snap a picture of it, since I often take photos of little spots of beauty and cheer in an ordinary life and share them on my Facebook page as a small way to encourage others.
I’ll keep this heart tucked in my coat pocket for a while to remind me, every time I reach into my pocket, that there is goodwill in the world. After a while I will likely hang it up again somewhere public for someone else to find and happily, they will be reminded of the same. #heartsareyourstokeep
