I was taking my morning walk along the Coastal Highway when something red caught my eye in a small tree. I stopped to check it out, thinking it was something someone had lost. When I saw the tag with “I need a home” I was concerned until I read the message on the tag. Thank you so much to the person who made this beautiful patriotic heart. The astonishing part of my heart adventure is that I found it on 9-11(September 11) a day we should never forget! What’s extra special is September 11 is my birthday!! I’ll cherish my heart!
