Neenah, WI USA

Another fantastic heart pounding day in Neenah, WI yesterday. It started with a regular visit to my doctor, and as we passed 5th st in our car a sighting of a suspect object was noted in a tree. Since we had a little extra time, the car was turned around, and sure enough Quilted Heart (QH) #1 was in a tree. It has a friendly Hello Kitty pattern on the majority of the front face of the heart.
As we continued on our way the little one spotted a suspect object in a tree in Washington Park, but we had a few other errands to finish. Once completed we swung by the park on the way home, and I spotted one she didn’t as we pulled into the parking lot. #2 has a smurf with an overall pastel color theme. It’s flower special was something I saw a month ago on another heart.
#3 is a Scooby-Doo heart with a double flower like signature/feature. This is the first time I had seen this extra effort combined with the flower accessory. This is the heart that the little one noticed as we drove by, and was near the entrance to the park parking lot.
Having found our first QH’s from a local park we were satified, but the discoveries from the day were not yet over. Since the day was warm enough I busted out the stroller and my neice and I went for a little walk. And while I wasn’t up to do a full circuit to Doty park and Smith park, we did find two hearts (one each again) on the tiny small 10th street.
#4 was found by myself. It’s a purple spring flower themed heart with an orange hard heart accessory.
And not two trees further down the call of “heart, heart, heart!” sounded as I saw what she had found. #5 This was a Green Easter egg themed QH, with some pastel colors thrown in.

Overall this was another lovely day of bumping into Quilted Hearts almost everywhere we went. This time all inside the city of Neenah. My niece really loves her hearts, and she has three of them that she’s found all by herself. She loves coming over and looking at my growing collection. She used to hate long car rides, but with all these wild Quilted Hearts out there, she has become far more observant.
I’ve almost everything to start making my own Quilted Hearts to place out in the wild and share with strangers, I just have to finish learning how to load and use my sowing machine. And watch another video tutorial on how to make them. lol
