I am a school counselor and I had a really emotionally challenging day at school. I had three different students disclosed to me that they had been sexually assaulted. All of the incidents were unrelated, and they were all reported within the same school day. I was having a very tough time processing what was reported to me while I was taking my dog for a walk. Typically on these walks, I am a little bit, rushed and eager to get home, but during this walk, I really decided to slow down and reflect, and be mindful on the day that occurred. Towards the end of my walk, I found the heart hanging from a small tree. It gave me a wonderful reminder that there is so much love in the world. And although there are hardships and traumas that happen every day, a little love can go along way. Thank you so much for my new treasure . š¤
