This pastel heart was hanging in a tree between the parking lot for a hotel and Shattuck Park in downtown Neenah. It’s amazing what a simple thing like this anonymous gift can do to cheer up your day. It hasn’t been that long since our City’s year long weekly treasure hunt ended, so it felt great to find a treasure that was just there for the taking. A woman passed by when I found it, and made certain to ask if she had spotted it first. She hadn’t but is now hoping to keep her eyes out for a heart to call her own. #spread the love
