I was on a group day hike in Morgan-Monroe State Forest 4/20/24. As we passed the sign in box for the trail I noticed a colorful object on top of it but left it, assuming it was someone’s painted rock and didn’t want to carry on the trail. Two thirds of the way through the trip others in the group found another hanging from a tree limb. When we got back to the trailhead curiosity got the best of me. I picked up the one from the box and brought it home with me. Thank you for the smile!
