I was visiting Monterey with my grandparents and sibling on May 21st when I came across the heart. We were on Cannery Row, about a block down from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, when I saw the heart hanging on a valve of some sort. Honestly, I approached it because I assumed it was trash left behind by some careless tourist- I was so surprised to see it was such a touching little piece of art. I was up there as an early birthday trip so it was extra special.
