I found this heart back in August of 2018 while on a hike with my summer fling! We were walking along the creekside when I spotted something in the trees on the other side of the creek. We wandered up the creek a little further to a fallen tree, crossed over, and discovered this quilted heart hanging on a branch.
I was in Ontario for a conservation volunteer trip, and I dedicate my life to helping injured and orphaned wildlife back home in Saskatchewan. Finding this heart covered in wild animals, with a note I desperately needed at that point in my life.. it feels like this heart was made for me personally. I look at it every single day. To whoever made this, thank you. It means so much more than you know.
