I’m a waitress at Applebee’s, and someone left one in the restaurant! Initially, managers weren’t sure if the heart was left intentionally or not, so it made a home in the office for a few weeks. I have a roommate from Iowa, so my manager let me take it home to give to them! This particular heart being left where it was feels very serendipitous, and hopefully it will remind my friend of home <3
