My husband and I decided to catch a Menemsha sunset on the last day of our annual vacation on Martha’s Vineyard. This place has been special to us for 35 years, but since our grandson Cooper was born still at full term in 2021, it’s been a place that also brings us sorrow, knowing we will never be able to share this beautiful island with Coop. On this evening, we had just seen an amazing sunset, and were walking back to our vehicle when we spotted the quilted heart rubber banded to a post on the beach. It felt like a message from Cooper- that he loves us just as we love him. I am so grateful for this gift. Thank you.❤️
