We are doing a two week travel to a few different states with our four kids. We started this tradition of taking big trips after my husband’s deployment. We found this one at our first campsite in Theodore Roosevelt NP. My girls were excited as we have heard of the hearts but never have been able to find one! What made this one more special is the colors. Last night my daughter (after counting everyone) was saying “oh we are only missing one child tonight, baby Alex”. A few years back we lost our son to a Triploidy Partial Molar pregnancy. The colors used to remember either of those are purple (molars) and green (Triploidy). So this heart is extremely special and will always be a symbol of having him with us on our traveling journey.
