I found this heart on September 3, 2023 while out SxS riding over Labor Day Weekend. I had seen posts from others who had found these hearts and always wished that I could find one, but figured that would never happen. Imagine my delight when my husband and I stopped at a trailhead map and there it was. I shared my excitement with my husband over my find, but I only took a picture so that I could remember it and left the heart for someone else to find and enjoy. I couldn’t stop thinking about that heart. As we were camping not that far away from where I found the heart, I asked my husband if he would drive me back to the trailhead to see if it was still there. As we drove up I could see that the heart was gone and my heart sank. As we were turning around to leave, I spotted it on the ground amidst the weeds. I ran to pick it up, brushing the dirt off and told my husband how excited I was that it was still there. I guess I was meant to have this little heart and give it a home. Thank you to the person who left it. I love my litte heart!
