I took the longer way on my usual trip to the coffee shop around the block and didn’t even see this hanging the first time around because I am usually looking at the ground, but I happened to notice it while walking home. It immediately made me think of my mom with her favorite color being purple and reminded me of little ornaments and crafts that she would make back when she was well. At first I was hesitant to take it because obviously I’m not the one that put it there, but after reading “I need a home”, I had to. And after doing so, I felt like I was meant to stumble across it. My mom knew I was having a rough morning with dropping my cat off at the vet for a procedure and I feel like it was a sign to let me know everything will be okay. Tears have been flowing since.
