My boyfriend and I were doing the manitou incline in manitou springs, Colorado. I wanted to do some low key walking nothing like the incline so I was struggling mentally with how many stairs there are to climb, we took the trail back down and honestly I wouldn’t have seen this heart on a post if it wasn’t for my boyfriend stopping to look at it, due to the ice I was just focusing on not falling. I stopped to look at it and honestly I thought “how cool is it that I get to be apart of something so significant”. I have never heard of quilted hearts or the three sister before until today.
This is a great reminder that I am meant for bigger things in this life and one day my hard work will pay off. I would have never been able to go on trips like this if I hadn’t left a very toxic relationship and met my current boyfriend. I am honestly blessed.
Thank you to whoever left this! I want to pass this on and spread the love. Next trip is going to be to Wyoming I think, maybe we will go on another hike or something.
