I had just been to the doctor where they poked me with needles and hooked me up to monitors to run testing. It has been a day for sure. We needed a few groceries since more snow is expected. We stopped at Safeway and the place was very busy. We had to park a little ways out. I noticed the heart hanging in the tree directly in front of us. I thought to myself, “oh how cute that someone wanted to hang an ornament in the tree.” I got out and wanted to look closer because I realized it was made of fabric. It had a little snow on the back but was not wet on the front. Then I read the tag saying it needed a home. And I thought, “I’ll give you a beautiful home that is well deserving and you will be cherished.” I’m also a quilter and I love that this little heart made me feel better after a rough day at the doctor. Thank you for your heart. It is now my heart. Since my testing was about my heart, it seemed rather fitting for the day. A higher power is telling me it will all be okay. I love my new heart.
