In my home town… Loveland, Colorado. You will come across 100’s of sculpture’s!!! Out of those 100’s of sculpture’s, I’ve come to be the most fond of the Statue of Liberty. Behind the statue you’ll find an American flag, and the biggest heart I’ve ever seen or witnessed in my life!!! At sunset, the view from where I found the heart at… Has to be one of the 7 wonder’s of the world… Watching the sunset into the Famous Rocky Mountains is something you’ll never forget that’s a fact. All that to be said and now to the crux of my story. I suffer from (POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER) and in my EMDR therapy that has been taught to me (EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION REPROCESSING) MY CALM PLACE IS LAKE LOVELAND (THE STATUE OF LIBERTY BACKS UP TOO THE LAKE). MY ALLEY IS THE STATUE OF LIBERTY. SO WHEN MY TRAUMA’S RESURFACE AND I AM IN A BIT OF A CONUNDRUM. I EITHER GO TO MY CALM PLACE AND ALLEY IN MY MIND ( I visualize, meditate of it) OR I PHYSICALLY GO TO MY CALM PLACE AND ALLEY, (LAKE LOVELAND & THE STATUE OF LIBERTY) IT’S WHERE I FEEL THE SAFEST!! Not to mention that the statue of liberty looks directly at the District Judge’s homestead. The statue of liberty means as much to me as it does to the JUDGE!!! I say a prayer every time I depart from the statue of liberty. The prayer goes;(GOD I PRAY FOR THE BOLDNESS TO CHANGE THE WORLD AND THAT THE JUDGE’S HOPE’S AND DREAM’S COME TRUE) *THE UNITED STATES’SUPREME COURT*
PS I’VE NEVER LISTEN TO ANYONE MY WHOLE LIFE, NOT EVEN MY MOM… THE “JUDGE” IS THE FIRST PERSON IN MY LIFE I EVER LISTENED TOO!! THOSE WORDS STARTED LIKE THIS: ” LET ME MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR TO YOU MR. CHAPMAN” THE COOLEST PART IS: I LISTEN TO THE JUDGE’S ACTION’S, ITS THE DEMONSTRATION THE JUDGE DISPLAYS. ITS THE JUDGE’S ABILITY TO HAVE COURAGE, TO ENCOURAGE OTHER’S… IS AMAZING!!! A REAL LIFE BUTTERFLY EFFECT… “PEOPLE DON’T CARE ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU KNOW, UNTIL THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU CARE” I GUESS SUPER HERO’S REALLY DO WEAR CAPES!!!!!
