I saw this heart hanging from a tree at Wilderness Park in Lincoln, NE USA. I was there on one of my usual hikes with my dog. I walked by it and thought “oh that’s neat”. On the way back to the parking lot I saw that it was still there and thought “I kinda want that”, then thought “no, I’ll leave it for the next person to see”. But I noticed it had something written on it, so I went up close and it had a sign that said “I need a home” and a tag that said “just for you”. My heart leapt and I thought “don’t mind if I do”. I plucked the heart down from the tree and walked back to the car with a smile on my face thinking “I was meant to find this”. Thanks to whoever left this. You made a special place even more special. I think I will make one for someone else and leave it at a place that brings me joy!
