I live in Lewiston , Maine, the place of the most recent gun shooting massacres. One day, tired and feeling grief, I saw this heart on a branch of a shrub clear of leaves. At first I glanced at it and thought it was none of my business, but when I got closer I realized it was a huge gift to me. To see the good in the world in a simple beautiful heart! Thank you, it meant so much! I treasure it and it will always have a home with me. Thank you to all who do this – it is so beautifully made.
