I was walking with my son in my favourite magical forest.
We are Palestinian and are struggling with the genocide and death of our family and community.
On our way back through the forest I noticed what I thought was a red leaf in a sea of green.
On closer inspection, it was a red magical heart. Exactly what we needed! I had just been asking nature for some respite and better experiences for us all.
This represents the beating heart ❤️ of Palestinians and that we will have our freedom and our self-determination.
