I was at the library, looking for books about Alzheimer’s because my dad was just diagnosed. Things haven’t been great for a bit and I had been feeling lots of intense feelings. I spotted it hanging on a book and picked it up to look. A beautiful, beaded patchwork heart that screamed, “LOVE” and i instantly was struck by what a kind gesture it was to craft that bitty beautiful heart and put it out for someone like me, who needed a pick me up and was feeling lost.
